Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we currently use on barkandgo.uk, and how you can manage your preferences. Our mobile app does not use cookies.

Strictly necessary

Always on

Required for the site to work securely - for example, verifying you're not a bot when signing up, logging in, or sending a contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile), and basic security/CDN cookies set by Cloudflare. These cannot be switched off, and under UK PECR rules they don't require consent because they're essential to the service.

Analytics

Would help us understand how visitors use our site (e.g. which pages are popular) so we can improve it. We do not currently use any analytics cookies - this category is here so that if we add analytics in future, it will only run with your consent.

Marketing

Would be used to measure or personalise marketing content. We do not currently use any marketing/advertising cookies - this category is here for the same reason as Analytics, above.

Map tile requests	OpenStreetMap	When you view a map (e.g. your verified address or our service area), your browser requests map images directly from OpenStreetMap. This does not set a cookie, but does share your IP address with OpenStreetMap.	Not applicable (no cookie set)
Stripe checkout cookies	Stripe	When you pay for a booking, you're taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies there, under its own privacy and cookie policy, to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.	Set by Stripe on stripe.com, not on barkandgo.uk
